| Where has this year gone ???? Seems like just yesterday, we were celebrating Christmas holidays with our family !! We are gearing up for our October kiln opening and the two festivals in Seagrove in November. Yes - we are doing both shows because we want to be available to all of our customers. Check out the new photos on our gallery page, and you will see some of our new designs. Since lamps are so popular, we are doing lots of new shapes and sizes. Bill recently picked up a truck load of black oak branches, so we will have a great selection of items with wood. Bill built a raku kiln, and we hope to get some glaze tests completed in time to have some raku ready for the kiln opening - but for sure by November. I want to thank all of you for supporting our business, visiting us at festivals, and for just being the greatest group of friends anyone could ask for !! For those of you who have bought some of my yarns - get this - I taught myself to "space dye" yarn. I also found a great source for machine spun loopy mohair that dyes beautifully. I will have a good selection ready by the kiln opening. Our son Wesley and his new bride Amy are doing great back in Wisconsin, and our son Tyler is loving his new job in Asheville. More later - Hope to see you soon!! |
